Falkirk is the biggest centre of population in the Force area and consists of a vibrant town centre, with a busy pedestrianised High Street and shopping mall. The town is popular for shoppers and is a centre for entertainment, with many pubs and restaurants.
The area is becoming increasingly popular with out of town visitors, attracted to the Falkirk Wheel and barge trips on the canal network.
The town centre area of Falkirk is policed by Falkirk Sub Area Command along with officers from the smaller stations of Bainsford and Camelon.
Bainsford police office, located in Davids Loan, has 2 Community Officers to cover Langlees and Bainsford, as well as New Carron Village and the new residential developments at Mungal Farm.
Camelon police station, situated in Main Street, has 2 Community Officers to service the needs of the communities of Camelon and Tamfourhill. In addition the Community Officer for Bantaskine is based within this office.
Falkirk police office has 3 Community Officers covering Laurieston, The Bog, Middlefield and Hallglen. In addition a Police Liaison Officer for the town centre works in partnership with the retail sector.
