The Clackmannanshire Area Command encompasses the bustling town of Alloa and the smaller towns and villages along the Ochil Hills towards the force boundaries with Fife and Tayside, such as Sauchie, Clackmannan, Kennet, Forrestmill and Fishcross.
Alloa itself is the largest town in the area command and is currently in the midst of a substantial regeneration initiative, ranging from new housing and retail developments to the expansion of the new rail link between the town and Stirling. Alloa and the immediate surrounding areas are experiencing a population growth which will bring new challenges for the community constables.
The other half of the area command covers the villages of Tullibody, Glenochil, Cambus, Menstrie and Alva. Officers also serve communities in the Hillfoots û Tillicoultry, Dollar, Muckhart, Coalsnaughton and Devonside.
The area command is home to Glenochil Prison, a major alcohol production site operated by Diageo, the Sterling Mills retail park û all over looked by the grandeur of the Ochil Hills.
