Camera Enforcement Unit
Safety Cameras are at the forefront of improving road safety for all and continue to provide a valuable aid to Road Policing. When accident hotspots have been identified and speed is found to be a factor, the Camera Enforcement Unit, together with the Road Policing Unit and local officers using Hand Held Radar, will undertake speed checks in order to meet, or better, national targets for the reduction of accidents and casualties on our roads. |
