Management Services

Management Services, under the supervision of Mr Jim McKellar MBE, is responsible for meeting the Force's needs in respect of:

  • purchasing
  • contracts
  • stores
  • estates
  • administration
  • catering
  • caretaking services

The Estates Officer is also a member of the project team for Falkirk Police Office Renewal Project.

The onset of Devolved Financial Management has changed the role of the Purchasing Officer. Local unit commands are now responsible for their own budgets, and he assists them in making the most effective use of this by identifying goods and services which provide best value for money.
