Central Scotland Community Risk Register

The Central Scotland Community Risk Register has been published by the Central Scotland Strategic Co-ordinating Group and its purpose is two-fold.

Firstly, it helps to inform the public about the potential hazards that exist in varying degrees within the Central Scotland area. It also seeks to reassure our communities that in the unlikely event they should occur, detailed plans and procedures are in place to provide an effective response.

Secondly, it ensures that the resources of partner organisations are focussed on providing the best resilience, response and recovery capabilities possible in respect of the hazards and risks faced.

The publication has been prepared in accordance to statutory national guidance on emergency prepardness.
